Bit Maki Software is an indie Mac software company born when Dave Dribin met Jonathan ‘Wolf’ Rentzsch. They decided it would be cool to produce their own Mac apps instead of just writing them for their clients. Their first product is Textcast.

Dave Dribin | Founder

Dave has been writing professional software for over thirteen years, and programming since the days of the Apple ][. After five years programming embedded C for GSM infrastructure at Motorola and a brief stint riding the Internet bubble, Dave decided to venture out on his own. Since 2001, Dave has been providing independent consulting services. In 2006, he incorporated Bit Maki to provide consulting service for his customers. In 2008, he founded Bit Maki Software with Wolf to write their own apps.

Jonathan ‘Wolf’ Rentzsch | Founder

Wolf has been programming Macs for seventeen years and appears he'll never tire of it. Active in the Mac developer community, he leads a local get-together (PSIG), co-leads a downtown group (Chicago Cocoaheads) and runs his own indie developer conference (C4).
